Operation Lifesaver, Inc., (OLI), in partnership with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), announces that grant funds are available to transit agencies and other governmental entities for rail transit safety education and public awareness initiatives. Grant amounts are capped at $20,000.

Requirements:

  • 25% nonfederal matching funds are required.

  • Projects may include outreach materials that have been developed by OLI or incorporate OLI rail safety elements into existing transit agency campaign, which must be approved by OLI's National Advisory Council Review Committee.

Deadline for grant proposals: August 31, 2015
