Minnesota Operation Lifesaver’s 2026 Silent Auction | October 29–November 1

Find something you love while supporting free rail safety education across Minnesota. Auction proceeds will help us train volunteers, provide presentations and educational materials, and bring lifesaving information to more communities.

See Tracks? Think Train® Week 10th Anniversary

10 year anniversary

 

First held in the U.S. in 2017, this collaborative effort among Operation Lifesaver Inc., State Operation Lifesaver Programs, and rail safety partners across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico is now called See Tracks? Think Train® Week throughout the U.S. to better reflect the purpose of this week-long observance:

 - Preventing railroad crossing and trespass incidents across North America
 - Concentrating public attention on the need for rail safety education

What is Minnesota Operation Lifesaver?

Minnesota Operation Lifesaver is part of the national organization Operation Lifesaver, Inc., a private, nonprofit educational organization dedicated to ending collisions, deaths and injuries at highway-rail crossings and on railroad property. We are an independent 501c3 educational Minnesota-based nonprofit offering free safety presentations and events by authorized volunteers for:

  • School groups
  • Driver education classes
  • Community audiences
  • Professional drivers
  • Law enforcement officers
  • Emergency responders
  • And More.

Working to create awareness and provide education to the public on how to make safer decisions around tracks and trains in an effort to reduce collisions, deaths, and injuries at highway-rail grade crossings and on railroad property in Minnesota. Our Volunteers reach tens of thousands of people across the state and beyond each year with our educational tools to prevent future tragedies.
