Operation Lifesaver, Inc. Welcomes Six New Board of Director Members
Washington, D.C. – April 30, 2025 – Operation Lifesaver, Inc. (OLI), the national rail safety education nonprofit, is pleased to welcome six distinguished industry leaders to its Board of Directors.
These new members bring decades of rail expertise and join OLI’s already engaged Board, whose guidance and dedication play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships and advancing its mission through education and outreach. OLI is also proud to welcome back returning Board Members for a new two-year term, continuing their invaluable service to the organization. The addition of these six industry leaders enhances OLI’s ability to drive impactful programs and expand its reach nationwide.

The newly appointed Board members are:
- Michael Cook, Assistant Vice President Systems Safety, BNSF Railway Company
- Rodney Doerr, Vice President & Chief Safety Officer, Union Pacific Railroad
- Matthew McClaren, Vice President Safety & Environment, Canadian National Railway
- Randy Noe, Assistant Vice President Regulatory Affairs, Norfolk Southern Corporation
- Jim Schwichtenberg, Vice President & Chief Safety Officer, CSX Transportation
- Alan Stouder, Ohio Operation Lifesaver State Coordinator, OLI National Advisory Council (NAC) Co-Chair and State Coordinator Regional Representative for Regional 2
