Become a Volunteer

Louisiana Operation Lifesaver is always looking for volunteers to educate the public on the dangers of railroad crossings and railroads' rights-of-way. If you are interested in making your community safer, follow the steps below:

1. Visit the OLI Volunteers Page
2. Complete the OLAV Online Application
3. OLI National reviews all applications for approval
4. Approved applicants will receive and email containing further instructions
5. After a brief face-to-face meeting, you are now an Operation Lifesaver Authorized Volunteer!
