Texas Operation Lifesaver
Welcome to Texas Operation Lifesaver
Hello from your State Coordinator
Texas Operation Lifesaver has been committed to preventing collisions, injuries, and fatalities on and around railroad tracks and highway-rail grade crossings for over 50 years. With the support of railroads and our network of volunteers, we are committed to saving lives through education.
-Jessica Devorsky, Executive Director

Every three hours, a person or vehicle is hit by a train. Texas ranks #1 in the country for collisions and fatalities. Remember- always stay alert around tracks and trains.
Trespassing on railroad tracks is illegal and extremely dangerous. Texas ranks #2 in the nation for trespassing incidents. Railroad property, including the tracks and surrounding areas, is private property, and walking on or near them without authorization is considered trespassing.
